On Sunday more than the Chennai Super Kings win over South African team Titans, MS Dhoni’s new hairstyle made waves.
The Indian and CSK captain took off his helmet during his team’s fielding effort to reveal he had a new hairdo.
Dhoni who has experimented with a number of hairstyles in the past from long locks to the boy cut look and the bald look after India’s World Cup win in 2011 was seen sporting a bald buzz hawk.
The off-field drama of the IPL betting scandal that has seem CSK’s former team principal Gurunath Meiyappan charge sheeted has clouded the Champions League T20.
At his home ground in Ranchi, Dhoni’s CSK team who are looking to win the CL T20 title again were on song as they won the match with ease.
Many speculations were on as to why Dhoni chose this new look that reminded many fans of football star Mario Balotelli’s hair style.

For fans who would look to copy the cricket style icon and opt for a similar hair do, Bhavnani said, “This look is very easy to maintain.”

The hair stylist talking about her celebrity client also said, “With Dhoni, it’s not about the look. It’s all the talent that runs in the captain’s blood.”
