History: In 1847, a group of Scottish missionaries started the Bombay Scottish Orphanage School to educate orphans. In 1976, the name was changed to Bombay Scottish School. To mark its 150th anniversary, a school was established at Powai in 1997.

Unique features: The school has state-of-the-art science laboratories and also conducts several quizzes, competitions and a science Olympiad. There are a variety of clubs that students can join, including the nature club, readers’ club, etc. The school has a well-stocked library and routinely takes students on educational project trips.
