History: The school was set up at Tardeo in 1928 by four Salesians, and was named the Educational Institution of Immaculate Conception. It was moved to Matunga in 1941.

Unique features: The school lays emphasis on sports, and has won many medals at the Bombay City District Amateur Athletic Association Meet and the overall championship trophy for Best School in the boys’ section. Classrooms are IT-enabled and there is a physiotherapist on campus. Part of the school was solar-panelled last year and generates around 10 kilo watts of energy.
