History: The school was established by the Catholic Church in 1957, and is run by the Archdiocese of Bombay. The school is managed by the Redemptorist Fathers.

Unique features: The school focuses equally on academic and co-curricular activities. Music and theatre are also encouraged. It focuses on practical learning and outdoor activities for science classes. Students of the school have made a mark in sports such as squash, badminton and football at the national level.
