Heard of sand art on H hair? This is one style trend that has women colouring their hair in four to five bright shades. It is, however, not to be confused with rainbow hued hair trend. The inspiration comes from a children’s hobby from the ’90s, when kids would come back from beach holidays with bottles filled with layered coloured sand. It’s now caught on as a hair trend thanks to a new product that lets one dye their hair in different shades without having the dye run or transfer to other strands. The hair has to be dyed first with peroxide blonde. A selection of colours is then taken and layered onto different strands of hair. It requires a lot of maintenance as peeka-boo roots can ruin the look. There are also semi-permanent dyes, so one could choose a certain style for the weekend and then change it for work on weekdays.
